Each year ERS presents a number of prestigious awards to recognise the achievements of a select group of leaders in the field of respiratory medicine, and we are pleased to announce the 2020 winners. Congratulations to all awardees!

As you will not be travelling to Congress this year, we challenge you to count up your kilometres during September and see if you can run, walk, cycle or swim your way to one of our previous or future Congress destinations instead! Choose a target to aim for; this could be the distance you would have travelled (if you are not too far away!) or you could choose one of our set distances.
