It is a great honor to invite you to the 2021 Korean Academy of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases International Conference (KATRDIC 2021), which will be held at Lotte Hotel World in Seoul, Korea from November 11 to 12, 2021.

KATRDIC 2020 was held in a virtual format to wisely cope with the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation last year. It was regrettable that we couldn't meet participants in person, but 1,406 participants from 25 countries around the world attended the event while safely social distancing through the online framework. This was possible thanks to prominent experts from neighboring countries and around the world who actively participated and provided their generous support.

In order to continue the academic presentations and discussion, which is the unique purpose of this year's conference, we have decided to prepare and respond to the changing COVID-19 situation with stability and efficiency. Therefore, KATRDIC 2021 will be held in a hybrid format, both online and offline. The conference will consist of live on-site lectures by domestic speakers and pre-recorded lectures by overseas speakers.

KATRDIC 2021 will be a great opportunity for us to keep up with the rapidly changing developments and innovations in the field of tuberculosis and respiratory studies. It will also be a meaningful place to discuss the latest trends and more, including the ever-changing healthcare environment. We believe we can overcome difficult times together and achieve global cooperation.

Furthermore, to encourage greater participation from all over the world, the organizing committee will offer various award categories. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you submit your abstract and complete registration by the deadline.

2. Abstract Submission

We cordially invite you to submit your abstracts for oral and poster presentation. All abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific program committee and assigned to the appropriate session.

3. Registration

The registration fee has been substantially reduced to encourage students and trainees from non-presenting attendees from all over the world to attend the conference on a new digital meeting platform. Registration will provide each participant with an access code to participate in sessions in the infrastructure to host and support the virtual conference.
